Children - Meet Ice Princess, Laura Wetzel, and her little dog, Snowflake, Friday night at the Triangle! Come watch the beautiful ice princess create her artistry on skates Saturday afternoon at the Williams Street skating rink. (Rescheduled for Saturday, January 26th)
Laura Wetzel is a 21 year old from Coopersburg who competes in ice skating at the senior level. She is a United States Figure Skating Association Triple Gold Medalist in Freestyle, Moves-In-The-Field, and Dance. She has been skating for 15 years, competing at regionals and at two U.S. Junior National Championships. Currently, Laura is a Junior at DeSales University working towards a degree in Physician's Assistant studies. She also skates and teaches at the Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem and encourages skaters of all ages to take to the ice. The Emmaus Arts Commission is thrilled to have Laura join us for SnowBlast Winter Festival as Miss Ice Princess!
For the 21 and older crowd- Come dance the night away at the Snowblast Blizzard Ball on Saturday, Jan. 19 from 8-11 P.M. to benefit the Emmaus Arts Commission. Back by popular demand, that raucous rock 'n roll band, Class Act, Burning Bridget Cleary will be opening for Class Act. Tickets $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
